 MCA BLOG we visited the museum of contemporary art last Wednesday. we saw the " Art in the Caribbean Diaspora, 1990s–Today" Exhibition  on the forth floor. this exhibition meant to show it's audience a new approach     to contemporary art in the Caribbean diaspora and reveal more ways of thinking about identity and place. before going to the museum we talked about body art and the history of it so when we got there we tried finding the art works of one of the artists mentioned in class.   Professor Galina Shevchenko's studio we all went up to the eighth floor. when we got there we found professor Galina and she gave us a little tour. firstly she showed us the computer lab for digital multimedia design. she showed us all the art displayed on the walls of the halls and explained all about the process of the work and the classes she teaches, also the classes available on that  department. it was helpful for gathering Information about digital multimedia design classes and the  opportunity it has given to many people getting them on full scholarship rides to top universities. we have seen many photographies in class and places we have visited together in this semester.

  Art Exhibit: Essential Workers   we visited the art  exhibition on the 11th floor. they were the art works of art students who studied all through  Quarantine and covid-19. the most interesting piece was the work below. at first it looked simple and the picture and its name brought a lot of questions to mind, but after reading the story behind the work it made it special. https://www.artworkarchive.com/profile/stephanie-burke/exhibition/essential-workers/f-ggot other interesting art works:
